Municipal Utilities Department seeking Industrial/Reliability Engineer responsible for determining and implementing the most effective ways to maintain Water/Wastewater Utilities Facilities and all associated preventative maintenance on equipment, achieving quality requirements and productivity. This is a lead position in finding efficiencies and managing reliability centered maintenance.
Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil and/or environmental engineering or a related field.
Ten (10) years engineering experience, preferably related to Utility projects; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer by the Florida Department of Professional Regulation within six (6) months of employment is required.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, within one year of employment, certifications of training for ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, ICS-400, IS-700 and IS-800
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Florida Driver's License.
