Century is seeking stream restoration engineers or scientists (junior to senior level) to work on a variety of ecological restoration projects throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant project experience in: watershed assessments; stream assessments (geomorphic, biological); stream restoration design and permitting; ecological restoration (wetlands, forest, habitat enhancement, permitting), and related NPDES program services. Other desired experience includes: familiarity with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling; water quality monitoring/ modeling and TMDLs, and GIS/CADD skills. Candidates must have good oral and written communication skills. B.S. in environmental science, engineering, or related field is required. M.S. degree is preferred. Relevant coarse work (Hydrology, Hydraulics, Geomorphology, Sediment Transport, Stream/Wetland Assessment, etc.) and/or project experience is desired. Maryland experience is also desired.
