Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, to plan projects;
Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine design specifications;
Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards;
Provide input for departmental and project reports; interact with other disciplines to accomplish project goals;
Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site;
Direct or participate to surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction;
Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility;
Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel; and
Coordinate and manage people, materials, and equipment, budgets, schedules, and contracts; and safety of employees and the general public.
Masterâ€™s degree or foreign equivalent in Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field is required. In addition, at least one (1) year of experience as in the job offered or related role such as Structural Engineer or any position with similar job duties is required. Full term of experience must include directing surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction; and utilizing AutoCAD. Must have 10 Hour OSHA, 30 Hour OSHA, and 4 Hour Scaffolding Certificates. Any suitable combination of education, experience or training will be accepted.
