Sam Schwartz is seeking a motivated individual for our downtown Arlington, Virginia office to support on-going traffic engineering and planning projects. The position’s responsibilities will include: data collection and analysis, preparing various traffic and parking studies, performing safety analysis, graphics for reports and presentations, and writing technical memos. The position is part-time with an estimated work schedule of 20 hours per week. Potential for full-time employment.

Prerequisites include undergraduate or graduate level classes in Transportation Engineering and/or Planning, strong written and data analysis skills. Prefer experience with Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS 2010, and AutoCAD. Knowledge of ArcGIS and Adobe Illustrator are a plus.
