Sewall is a national engineering, GIS, and forestry-consulting firm that has been in business since 1880. Headquartered in Old Town, Maine, we provide professional services to a wide variety of public- and private-sector clients. Currently, we are seeking a client-focused staff engineer to provide analytical and technical support for assigned projects from the Old Town, Maine, regional office. Position will involve detailed civil design of roads, site developments, and storm-water projects. Candidate will also perform concept planning, studies, and construction observation of projects.
BS degree in Civil Engineering. MS degree is considered a plus.
2 to 5 years’ engineering experience
Engineer Intern Certification
Working knowledge of AutoDesk Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and HydroCAD.
Experience with site and highway design, modeling of stormwater, and strong knowledge of site development regulatory issues.
Must be a team player possessing strong verbal and written communication, planning, and organizational skills
The position requires occasional travel to job sites, meetings, and other regional offices.
