Fire Alarm Systems

The primary function of the fire alarm technician will be, testing, repairing, and maintaining fire alarm systems throughout Indiana and surrounding states.
Any repairs or tests performed will be in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (N.F.P.A.) guidelines and fire code. The technician will enter into an on-call rotation schedule (in addition to their daily working hours). The on-call rotation is currently once every 8 weeks.
Working hours are currently 7am-3:30pm with overtime being applied to anything more than 8 hours a day.
This position will require independent troubleshooting and repair skills as well as working from verbal instructions to resolve fire alarm and fire network problems as well as interfacing with contract vendors to diagnose and repair panel or field device problems.
