An award-winning Geotechnical & Enviro Engineering firm is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering for its TAMPA, FL office.
**This is NOT an Internship.

The Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for business development & client management (internal & external), writing proposals, coordinating field studies, performing geotechnical analyses and designs, writing reports, developing a staff. This will be primarily for FDOT clients. The Geotechnical Engineer coordinates drilling, subcontractor tasks, evaluates data and compiles written reports for submittal to clients.
Direct and execute geotechnical project assignments including engineering analysis, report preparation, field exploration and laboratory analysis.
Manages geotechnical projects, consults with DOT client regarding issues, coordinates internally and with client, prepares proposals and Request for Proposals as needed, and writes reports.
Review and seal reports (P.E. License Required)
Mange multiple projects - primarily Florida DOT (FDOT) - and assumes responsibility for project execution within budget and on time. In addition, marketing the department and growing business line.
Prepares cost estimates, proposals and invoices
MUST HAVE Florida PE license
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering - prefer Geotechnical emphasis.
MUST HAVE 7+ years’ experience in Geotechnical Engineering
