Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure is currently seeking an Environmental Risk Assessor who is a motivated team player.
Working closely with other members of the risk assessment team in building and developing consulting services business in environmental risk assessment, risk management, site assessment and remediation, and toxicology
Provide support to senior personnel on both human health and ecological risk assessments as well as associated areas such as environmental chemistry and toxicology
Proposal preparation and client liaison
Progression to leading technical aspects of projects and identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
Skills / Qualifications
M.Sc. in chemistry, biology, toxicology or related field is preferred
Minimum of 5 years of risk assessment experience (human health risk assessment and toxicology, site-specific risk assessment, environmental toxicology, probabilistic exposure assessment, multi-media risk assessment, peer review and / or the development of regulatory guidance limits for chemicals in soil, air, water and other media)
Demonstrated project management, client management and business development skills
Full working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153 / 04, as amended, and all aspects of Record of Site Condition Risk Assessments
Knowledge of the Federal Contaminated Sites Action Plan risk assessment framework
Strong written and oral communication skills as demonstrated through report writing and presentations
