Amec Foster Wheeler seeks a Senior Project Manager who understands the Private-Public-Partnership (P3) market, and truly wants to be an integral and highly visible part of key Highway, Urban Transit, Road & Bridge Infrastructure Projects that firmly fall within the “Mega Project” moniker within Eastern Canada.
A leader in North Americas P3 market, this individual will have had the pleasure of partaking in some of Canada’s most high-profile infrastructure projects. They have developed a reputation of Engineering and building projects, and making them much sought-after amongst Canadian professionals looking to work on landmark Infrastructure projects within a unique corporate culture.

Lead business development activities including preparation of proposals and statement of qualifications
Drive the Bid Team through all phases of theP3 pursuit; Bid/Design/Deliver cycle
Manage projects, including schedule, deliverables and financial performance, approve expenditures and coordinate consulting services agreements
Represent Amec Foster Wheeler as the primary interface with the client consortium and associated project sponsors
Manage and mentor staff, project teams, productivity and utilization in adherence to the proposal and project schedules and budgets
Supervise staff and participate directly in the completion of projects
Foster a spirit of enthusiasm, quality and client focus
Prepare designs and contract specifications for a wide variety of transportation projects
Other duties as assigned
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Science, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience
Experience working with P3 Joint Ventures is a must; experience in a successful pursuit team on a P3 project is a strong plus
Minimum of 5 years managing a multi-disciplinary team; PMP and/or relevant certifications are an asset
Extensive experience in bid and design of Roadbuilding, Highways, Light rail, and related Earthworks are key
Working knowledge of contract language and legal requirements of contracts, with excellent technical, communication, organizational, managerial and planning skills
Experience in procurement processes is desirable
Excellent people and leadership skills
