The candidate will be required to learn client design standards, become familiar with municipal codes and requirements, and should have a passion for technology and a willingness to use technology to improve processes. The candidate must have the ability to utilize MicroStation. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate and coordinate project scope with the client and local municipalities.
2-5 years of experience
Civil background, with FDOT permitting experience preferred
Experience with FDOT MOT design a huge plus
B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
E.I.T. Certification preferred with the ability to obtain a P.E. License within 2-4 years
1-3 years of CAD experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
Excellent problem solving and decision making
Must be a good communicator (oral and written) and possess strong human relation skills
Ability to work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to manage multiple projects and meet aggressive project deadlines
Achievement-motivated to work with Milhouse to set and surpass realistic goals
