Casual Dress Code
The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the Quality Manager in maintaining MSI’s quality systems, processes and procedures. This role will assist with audits, reporting, analysis and implementation of initiatives related to achieving quality and performance goals throughout the organization.
Plan, conduct and report ISO 9001 quality audits to confirm effectiveness of QMS program
Prepare audit reports and quality presentations for department and operational management
Record, Chart and Analyze COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) data
Assist in maintaining and creating process flowcharts, procedures and work instructions to maintain ISO Certification
Prepare and conduct training on the MSI quality management system to ensure ongoing success of QMS
Lead or participate in conducting root cause analysis and providing solutions for Non-Conformances (NCR’s), Corrective Actions (CAR’s) & Preventative Actions (PAR’s)
Collaborate with and assist the Quality Manager with the implementation of quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
Control and audit supplier documentation according to company requirements
Maintain the calibration program in accordance with ISO 9001 standards
Associates’s degree and/or related experience in the quality field, in lieu of degree equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
Three years experience in a quality role
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Excellent verbal and written communication
Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional environment
Proven ability to influence and build consensus among multiple functions
Knowledge and/or training of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO9001:2015 preferred
ASQ, CQA and/or CQI Certifications preferred
