Graver Technologies has an immediate opening for a Technical Sales Manager to join our Specialty Adsorbents Team headquartered in our Glasgow, DE facility.
Our ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting sales objectives.
The Technical Sales Manager will support and grow the drinking, process and waste water customer base for our MetSorb® adsorbent products.
Provide technical and commercial support for MetSorb® adsorbent products to the existing drinking and industrial water treatment customer base:
Respond to technical inquiries, provide product training and prepare commercial quotations as necessary
Support and facilitate customer requests for applications testing and system startup
Work collaboratively with internal technical and quality team members to support new applications, troubleshoot difficulties or respond to product quality questions
Expand customer/distributor base in target domestic and international territories:
Identify key prospects
Establish and maintain a database of contact with these prospects for tracking and measuring conversion
Train new distributors and end users
Perform marketing activities:
Develop and distribute technical datasheets and other marketing materials
Prepare a trade show plan and participate / exhibit
Work with web team to publish product news, maintain technical documents and calculators and to update distributor information on the company website
Develop monthly demand forecast to support production planning activities
Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports for management
Participate in and contribute to quarterly team meetings
30-50% Travel, both Domestic and International
Education and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Preferred
Sales analysis, planning and tracking
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs
5-10 years of Experience Selling to the Drinking Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Industry
Familiarity with water industry trade and regulatory organizations; WQA, AWWA, Ground and Rural Water Associations, Federal and Regional EPA, State Drinking and Waste Water Regulators, etc.
History of representing company and products at trade shows and industry conventions
