The Department of Civil Engineering and Construction at Bradley University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the area of Construction starting in January or August 2019. Duties include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, supervising students, and attracting funded research. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications. Applicants should have a background in Construction Management or related field. Preference will be given to those with an earned doctorate in Construction or a terminal degree in Architecture. A broad background in construction practice, CAD, project management, estimating, scheduling, sustainability, and/or Building Information Modeling is desired. Applicants must possess and maintain a valid driver license. The selected candidate will also have unique opportunities to teach overseas through our study abroad programs in the UK, France, Egypt, UAE and other destinations. The department currently has 15 full-time faculty positions and approximately 275 students.
