We are seeking to fill an immediate need for seasoned, hands-on highway transportation career professionals who have evolved into the role of trainer/classroom instructor. Qualified individuals will serve on a team of subject matter experts (SMEs) who will deliver training across the country within their areas of expertise, as well as facilitate online learning opportunities, and provide responses to highway transportation technical assistance requests. Travel will be required 1-2 times monthly. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in addition to annual earnings. Candidates will be hired based on their ability to deliver specified required training topics in one of five transportation categories: Planning & Procurement, Safety, Maintenance & Operations, Project Delivery and Asset & Data Management. The immediate need is for one Planning & Procurement SME and one Safety SME, but applications will be considered for all topic areas.
