As a Quality Engineer, you will support the organization in producing high quality products and processes that help us achieve excellent customer satisfaction. You will do this by developing, implementing, and overseeing quality management system processes; implementing corrective actions and implementing continuous improvements to address deficiencies and improve process performance. This role will rely on strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact with all areas of the company.
Some Primary Duties Include:
Supporting the Director of Quality in overseeing the Quality Management System, including performing internal audits against the ISO 9001 and other standards
Reviewing and updating quality policies as required, collaborating with process owners to ensure alignment with ISO requirements
Assisting with corrective action reviews, then following-up and verifying effectiveness
Supporting sourcing engineers to investigate quality issues with suppliers
Oversee incoming inspection and non-conforming material activities, including conducting inspections
Participating in new product development to ensure new products can be produced to meet quality requirements
Providing support to the Calibration Engineer in maintaining Inspection, Test & Measurement Equipment
Interfacing with Sales & Service regarding field quality issues including:
Investigation of quality complaints and warranty product returns
Reporting on findings
Collaborating to identify permanent corrective actions
Leading cross-functional teams to investigate and address quality issues
Monitoring key quality performance data to proactively address areas of concern with subject matter experts

Qualified candidates will possess the following:
A bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or relevant field
Knowledge of electrical engineering/electronics
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard requirements
Familiarity with Quality Tools including audits, data analysis, statistical process control, FMEA
Additional Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience using data analysis to identify and solve problems and improve processes
Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic aptitude
Ability to look at problems as processes, taking them apart to understand them and help identify and implement improvements
