The Department of Information and Operations Management (INFO) at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, invites applications for a full-time tenured/tenure-track faculty position in the areas of Information Systems or Supply Chain Management, with a nine-month (September – May) academic appointment, beginning September 1, 2021. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications.
Candidates who are exceptionally well qualified may be offered the opportunity to begin their employment on August 1, 2020 as well as the opportunity to earn up to two months of additional salary during the summer for the purpose of supporting their research activities.
Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the advancement of knowledge through high quality publications in leading academic journals, to teach courses with rigorous academic content at the undergraduate, masters, and/or doctoral level, and to engage in service and outreach activities that advance the educational mission of the department, the school, and the university.
Applicants for this position should possess an earned doctorate in information systems, supply chain management, or a related field. At the assistant professor level, preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated potential for publishing high quality research in leading journals. At the associate professor level, preference will be given to candidates with established high-quality research records and the ability to extend the national reputation of the department through scholarship and service.
