Design at Cushing Terrell: 

Cushing Terrell is seeking a collaborative and accomplished Structural BIM Modeler in our Boise, Idaho office, with up to 3 years of experience or more to join a diverse team in a warm, welcoming, creativity-driven environment that values simplicity and environmentally responsible practices in our design thinking. 

As a BIM modeler at Cushing Terrell, you will have a unique opportunity to work on projects that push cutting edge design. You will be essential to our teams and our projects, developing quality schematic design through construction documents. You will be called upon to support design work in partnership with talented architects, designers, engineers, and business professionals across our 14 offices to achieve integrated design solutions. 

What we expect you can bring to the table: 

• You must be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD 
• Comfort with collaboration in all aspects of design with architects and engineers 
• Deep knowledge and experience in drafting for different material types including: steel, masonry, concrete, and wood 
• You should be very deadline driven and able to balance graceful communication, all while in the throes of fast paced production 
• A knack for creating out-of-this-world experiences for clients 

Structural Design at Cushing Terrell: Structural Engineering at Cushing Terrell represents a crucial piece of the complex building-design puzzle. You will have a unique opportunity to work on projects throughout the United States in a range of markets, including retail, commercial, and education, among others. You will be called upon to support structural design work in partnership with talented architectural designers, engineers, and business professionals across our offices. Be prepared to gain exposure to some exciting, high profile clients with big expectations, but note you will need to be comfortable with tight deadlines and a fluctuating workload. Our mountain-region roots have shaped both our client relations and our work ethic. We are the heads-down-but-have-fun, people-before-projects kind of firm. We encourage our engineers to set big goals, but to keep ego out of the office and prioritize a warm, supportive, and collaborative work environment.
