Rail Systems Engineer
Valley Metro
This position is responsible for supporting and overseeing the planning, design, construction, and capital renewal and replacement of rail and bus systems elements. These elements include the signaling system, communications system, traction electrification system, automated fare collection system, on-board vehicle systems, passenger stations and stops, park-and-ride/transit center facilities, maintenance and service facilities, and the Operations and Control Center. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and seven (7) years of increasingly responsible experience in support of the planning, design, construction, and capital renewal and replacement of systems elements on rail transit projects; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties. |
