The Center for Genomic Medicine at DRI in collaboration with the Renown Institute for Cancer has multiple Postdoctoral Fellow positions available in the newly established Cancer Research Laboratory. The Center for Genomic Medicine is a collaborative undertaking of the DRI and Renown Health leveraging the Healthy Nevada Project (HNP). We are currently recruiting for candidates interested to work on cancer research under the direction of scientists at the Renown Institute for Cancer (https://renown.org/cancer-research/), as well as candidates to work on cancer genetics as it relates to the Healthy Nevada Project (HNP), a comprehensive genotype and phenotype dataset on more than 50,000 individuals from Nevada. Additional Salary Information: Salaries are competitive and commensurate with qualifications, with continued appointment after the first year (assessed annually for up to a maximum of two years) being dependent upon performance and availability of funding. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in program development and reporting. Given satisfactory performance, and proven ability to generate research funding, this position has the potential to evolve into a regular research faculty position.
