The Position The Multnomah County (County) Transportation Division is seeking a motivated and team-oriented senior civil engineer to join its Bridge Engineering team. The Senior Engineer will primarily manage the design, permitting, and construction of the County's most complex capital improvement projects on the County's six Willamette River bridges (Sellwood, Hawthorne, Morrison, Burnside, Broadway, and Sauvie Island) in Portland, Oregon. Reporting to the Multnomah County Bridge Shop in Portland and working on a hybrid/telework basis, the position will work with the Transportation management team to make recommendations for future capital projects and assist in the development of grant applications to fund these projects.
