Job Summary: The Regional Traffic Engineer (RTE) would be responsible for the northern part of Arizona which offers a wide variety of outdoor activities and cool summers. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to choose a home office in either Prescott Valley or Flagstaff. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for traffic engineering, signing and striping maintenance, and traffic signal and lighting maintenance for the geographic Region assigned. Works under the direction of the TSMO Operational Traffic and Safety Group Manager but also coordinates extensively with District Engineers. Exercises considerable and significant independent judgment within established program parameters, policies and procedures, and is the ADOT TSMO liaison
