Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to promote an enhanced safety culture within the Department as well as to coordinate safety activities with outer transportation safety stakeholders within the State. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing various safety plans by federal legislation. The position is also responsible for developing and implementing a strategic safety plan for the Department.
