General Purpose The City of Idaho Falls is accepting applications for the position of City Engineer.  This position performs technical and professional duties associated with the planning, directing, and controlling division technical work units engaged in engineering service for the planning, designing, construction, and maintenance of various City projects, developments, and new subdivisions.      Essential Functions Manages day to day operations of the engineering division; develops operational strategies; evaluates ongoing methods, practices, and procedures; makes recommendations effecting policy change and implements the same upon approval; acts as technical advisor to City staff and administration as needed.
