The Department of Human Genetics at the University of Michigan Medical School (Ann Arbor, Michigan) seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.
We encourage candidates to apply who have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent, and are employing classical and modern approaches to address fundamental questions in genetics and genomics. Recruited faculty will join a highly collaborative community of more than forty investigators, whose research is well integrated with other basic science and clinical departments and institutes at the University of Michigan. Successful candidates will be provided laboratory and office space at the Medical School along with a competitive start-up package to develop a robust research program. We expect candidates will contribute to our faculty’s strong interest in developing trainees at all levels, including teaching in the classroom and mentoring trainees in the laboratory.
