The Nancy E. and Peter C. Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University invites applications to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Exceptional candidates at all ranks will be considered. We seek candidates with innovative approaches in developing and applying machine learning and artificial intelligence to biomedical engineering applications, including in the areas of Musculoskeletal and Cardiovascular Engineering, Cancer Immunology, Neural Engineering, Cellular and Tissue Engineering, Host-Microbe Interactions, or Drug Delivery. Applications exclusively focused on imaging will not be considered. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in engineering or a closely related field, with a demonstrated potential for success as an independent investigator and educator. The Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering is in the College of Engineering on Cornell’s campus in Ithaca, New York. The ideal candidate will benefit from strong collaborative ties to the College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, and Weill Cornell Medicine and Cornell Tech in New York City. Our global presence includes a College of Medicine campus in Doha, Qatar.
